Credit card payment information

Dear Guest,

At the end of the registration you will be asked to choose your payment method.
There are 3 alternatives to realize the payment for the 21st European conference:

1. Bank Transfer payment
2. Payment by check
3. Credit card payment – by PayPal

In case you intend to pay by credit card /PayPal/, please read the following information carefully.


Before you choose to pay by credit card, please verify whether:
- your credit card is enabled for internet transactions
- the transfer limits of the bank account for internet transfers are high enough

Upon completing the Registration Form, when you choose the payment by PayPal, you will be transferred to a page with a yellow PayPal button on the bottom of the page.  When you click on this button, you will be transferred to PayPal website where you can choose either to pay 1/ directly by your credit card without a PayPal account, or 2/ through a PayPal account.

Payments without a PayPal account are limited and mostly restricted by security procedures.* 
In order to prevent complications we strongly recommend to set up a verified PayPal account.

How to set up a PayPal account:

To sign up for a PayPal account, please go to www.paypal.com or click here.

Once you set up your PayPal account, it is necessary to enroll in PayPal's Expanded Use Program in order to lift money sending limits. Verification process normally takes 3-4 business days and removes security and transfer limits

If you already have a PayPal account:

To be able to send the conference registration payment, it is necessary to be enrolled in PayPal's Expanded Use Program in order to lift sending limits. To check your limits, please see the following instructions:

   1. Log in to your PayPal account.
   2. Click the "View Limits" link next to the yellow Balance box (if there is not a View Limits link, your account has no Sending Limit).
   3. Your remaining sending limit is listed under the "Sending Limit" heading.

In case your card payment is not permitted – which can occasionally happen due to PayPal security system - we will send you an electronic invoice that can be paid through your PayPal account or we will contact you per email with assistance.
The registration is not linked with the payment. Once you have completed the registration form and received the registration confirmation email, you DO NOT NEED TO RE-REGISTER even if you have initially experienced problems with your payment.

*Security limits depend on country, card provider, transferred amount and on frequency of use. First time users without a verified PayPal account realizing higher payment amounts /over 100 Eur/ are mostly blocked in order to prevent misuse and protect the customer. Without a verified PayPal account the transfer is not subject to full protection.
