Travel, Accommodation
Participants are responsible for all travel arrangements to and from Prague. Participants are also strongly encouraged to arrange for their personal health and travel insurance.
Upon your arrival, please contact our airport welcome desk, which will be operating on March 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the arrival hall of Terminal 2 (arrival from within the EU - Schengen zone). The desk will be indicated by the Hebrew University logo, which you can also find in the upper left-hand corner of the conference home page. Please check-in with the welcome desk so that we can confirm your safe arrival. As for participants arriving at Terminal 1 (non-Schengen countries), please proceed to the welcome desk at Terminal 2 (approximately 200 meters walk).
Our staff at the airport welcome desk will assist you with transportation to the hotel by either providing one of the conference cars or vans /for participants who asked for airport transportation/ or by arranging a taxi.
At the hotel, participants will be provided with a welcome packet containing information on the conference, the schedule of all conference events, identification for events, and general information about Prague.
Local car/bus transportation will be provided from the InterContinental Hotel to the special evening activities and the guided tour. The schedule of departures will be in the information materials of the welcome package.
All speakers and participants who will request accommodation will be accommodated in the five-star InterContinental Hotel which is located in the very center of Prague at the bank of the Vltava River. Prague’s Old Town, the Jewish Quarter and the Wenceslas Square are all less than 15 minutes of walk away from the hotel.
